Mohamed Ali is an associate professor at the Institute of Technology, University of Washington, Tacoma. Mohamed’s research interests include the processing, analysis and visual- ization of data streams with geographic and spatial informa- tion. For the past decade, Mohamed has been building com- mercial spatiotemporal data streaming systems to cope with the emerging Big Data requirements.
Martine De Cock
Martine De Cock holds a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Ghent University (Belgium). She is a professor at the Institute of Technology, University of Washington Tacoma (USA), as well as a guest professor at Ghent University.
Chunming Gao is an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Technology’s IT program at University of Washington, Tacoma. Gao’s areas of expertise are efficient algorithm designs, data analysis and management, systems security, and innovative HCI designs.
Wes J. Lloyd
I am an assistant professor at the Institute of Technology at the University of Washington Tacoma. My research interests include Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, and Software Engineering.
Primary interests include developing, modeling, and evaluating the performance of online, real-time analytical systems for cyber-physical systems including the Internet of Things (IoT) and Robotics. The building and evaluation of novel cyber-physical systems, particularly robots, that enable natural interaction including speech and gestures.
